Good news for Dark Souls 3 players PRACHA. After several months of inactivity, the platform’s online game servers were re-activated. Online comeback announcement has arrived twitter in a post on the franchise’s official account.
The Dark Souls 3 servers were taken offline earlier this year by developer FromSoftware due to a security issue requiring investigation. AT conformityRCE (Remote Arbitrary Code Execution) could be accessed, which allowed one player to take control of another’s computer.
The practice was common on internet forums and indicated that other FromSoftware games also had something similar, as in “Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice” – however, in the case of Sekiro, there was no way to activate this execution. The problem was even fixed in “Elden Ring”another game from the developer.
FromSoftware has spoken out on Twitter, and the developer says it’s working to bring back online servers for other Dark Souls games.
“We plan to gradually restore online service for each game, returning servers to Dark Souls 3 as soon as we complete work to fix the problem,” FromSoftware said in a statement. “We will update them as soon as the recovery schedule is complete. We thank all of our players for their patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.”
Many fans consider Dark Souls 3 to be the best game in the series and one of the best in the souls-like genre. O the game was launched in 2016 and has reached 10 million units sold worldwide.
